A home from home

At Coolabawn House we hope we offer you a home from home, with traditional hospitality and comfort together with all the modern facilities you would expect. Our fine linen and down bedding (non-allergenic!) will ensure you sleep soundly; our external insulation and triple-glazed windows will keep you warm and cosy.
Tina still makes all her own brown bread, jams and marmalade and her coffee cakes and tarts are legendary, made for the most part with home-grown or locally-grown rhubarb, apples, blackberries and raspberries. 
You will be welcome to relax with tea, coffee and some of that home-baking when you arrive, or just when you feel like it.

Attending a wedding at Lough Rynn?

Coolabawn House is about 3km and 5 minutes drive from Lough Rynn Castle.
Check in on your way to the reception and we will happily offer you a resuscitating cup of tea or coffee and homemade cake before you head for Lough Rynn. 
Taxis are well available for weddings and parties at Lough Rynn, even late into the night.
If you wish, we will be happy to drive you to the hotel for the wedding, and take you out to collect your car on the morning after.

We believe breakfast is too important to be rushed! We won’t hold you to a time for breakfast: come down when you’re ready and enjoy your choice of breakfast. 
We always cook fresh and to order, so just let us know what you'd like and we’ll do our best to prepare it for you.

Feel free to wander around our award-winning gardens. Filled with flowers, shrubs and an excellent example of a Monkey Puzzle tree. 
Voted best in County Leitrim and overall winner of 'Best Garden in Mohill'.
